A mentor is an accomplished business person who aids the development of business acumen, professional maturity, and/or personal growth in a mentee.
In the W2W program, mentor responsibilities include a commitment to providing candid feedback about a mentee’s situation, capabilities, and aspirations – while modeling their own brand of business, personal values and successes. Mentors share valuable “insider information” about careers, first-hand systems experience, and guidance in goal-setting, based on real-world perspectives gained over time.
Mentors facilitate networking and individual connections by recommending special events, training sessions, books and speakers, while offering advice and wisdom gained from past experiences in specialized areas of endeavor.
W2W partners commit to a mentoring relationship for a minimum of 12-months, with 4 face-to-face meetings within the year.
